"You don't understand, Sir" Few days ago, a friend reached out and shared a training I would love to attend. But you see, I didn't have so much interest. Why? Because I felt I was already good enough. On the day of the training, I got there late. Guess what? I wasn't happy with my choices. The facilitators were solid and very knowledgeable. I picked up quite a few things from what they shared. When you speak to someone in a certain way, they might feel you don't understand them. And here's the lesson: You need to be able to relate to your client's challenges. You need to show empathy in what you do. You need to put yourself in the shoes of your prospective clients. Else, you won't understand them. And if you don't understand why they do what they do, you won't be able to speak their language. You set up your business to help but being helpful begins with understanding the pain points of your prospective customers. I hope this helps you
