Im sharing my report which evaluates the feasibility of deploying a solar energy system over the carpark at Sultan Qaboos University utilizing high-efficiency monocrystalline solar panels. These panels, selected for their efficiency range of 15-22%, are especially suited for the harsh climatic conditions of the Sultanate of Oman. Environmentally, the project aligns with global sustainability targets and Oman's renewable energy goals by reducing carbon emissions by an estimated 82.6 tons annually. The Lakshadweep Energy Development Agency (LEDA) will spearhead the harnessing of this solar power, paving the way for a greener future. The anticipated benefits are impressive, including — A projected commercial savings of Rs 250 crore, a substantial reduction in diesel consumption by up to 190 lakh litres, and a remarkable offset of 58,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions. #SolarPower | Omexom Portugal reaffirms its dedication to the Energy Transition with the inauguration of the Morgavel solar power plant in Sines.   This innovative project marks RWE’s debut in the Portuguese solar market, representing a significant step for the region, recognized as one of the main renewable energy hubs in Europe. ☀️ 💡 Innovation and Sustainability - In partnership with AI Clearing, our teams used #artificialintelligence solutions to optimize installation and construction management processes, increasing efficiency and the creation of clean energy. They internally developed the Green Container, a solution that replaces diesel generators, resulting in up to 90% savings in diesel consumption and significantly reducing CO2 emissions. ⚙️ Advanced Technology - The Morgavel solar power plant uses the latest #bifacialmodules and single-axis trackers, as well as central inverters that ensure the highest safety standards. The bifacial technology allows electricity to be produced from both sides of the panel, making it more efficient. 🌍 Positive Impact - With an installed capacity of 44 MWac (49 MWp), the Morgavel solar park aims to generate enough green energy to power more than 45,000 homes, reinforcing the renewable energy footprint.
