#21 Hannah DeHamer
Hi LKYSUNZ !! I'm Hannah and you have the pleasure of me hosting Switchin It Up for the last race of the season. Which.... how is it already the end of the season? Time flies when you have a (semi) title battle, midseason driver drops, and summer break drama to deal with.
I thought we could start off on the right foot together and talk about women in motorsports. Because, hello! I'm a woman in motorsport and I think we're kind of cool. Lets get into shall we?
Motorsport has long been considered a male-dominated world, but being a woman in this industry isn’t just about breaking stereotypes—it’s about showing up with passion, purpose, and an unbeatable want to succeed. Yet, stepping into this space has also meant navigating challenges, from underrepresentation to proving that women belong not just on the sidelines but at the forefront of motorsport innovation, storytelling, and strategy. That's the part where I come in!
For me, being a woman in motorsport is about more than personal achievement. It’s about paving the way for the next generation of girls who dream of being part of this world—whether behind the wheel, in the pit, or in front of the camera. Representation matters, and each step forward brings us closer to a sport that celebrates passion and talent above all else.
To anyone who feels like they don’t belong, here’s my reminder: there’s room for you here. Every race, every story, every challenge brings new opportunities to prove that diversity fuels progress.
Motorsport isn’t just for men—it’s for everyone who dares to dream, work hard, and push boundaries.
Let’s keep pushing.
