Remembering Michaela Mabinty DePrince ❤️ When news broke earlier this month that ballerina Michaela Mabinty DePrince had passed away at age 29, the dance world reacted with shock, confusion, and profound sadness. She was so young; she had already accomplished so much in her extraordinary life, and yet her singular talent was still deepening, expanding, revealing itself. Since DePrince’s death, some of the artists who worked alongside her—firsthand witnesses to her gifts and influence—have begun to put their love and grief into words. The red hand pin worn by some actors and celebrities at the Oscars has a grim association for many Jewish people, as this photo explains. Here is a link to an article explaining what the red hand badge meant to those people wearing it. Ballerina Farm: behind the brand and lessons learned. As the world focuses on the #Olympics in France, another story has captured the headlines: the life of Hannah Neeleman, better known to her 17 million TikTok and Instagram followers as the original “trad wife” of Ballerina Farm. Hannah’s story reads like a modern-day fairy tale. She met her husband, Daniel Neeleman, son of the billionaire founder of JetBlue, and moved to a picturesque farm in Utah. Before becoming a full-time mother and homemaker, Hannah was a talented ballerina who attended the prestigious Juilliard School in New York. However, beneath the idyllic exterior lies a more complex reality. The Times recently interviewed Hannah in a piece titled “Meet the Queen of the Trad Wives and Her Eight Children” to uncover the truths behind her seemingly perfect life. Perfume Companies Have Found a New Way to Make You Crave What You Can't Smell✨ Perfume companies have always had a unique challenge - how do you market a product that customers can't experience until they purchase it? Many perfume brands have gotten creative with their marketing tactics to build desire for their fragrances, even when customers can't sample them in the store.
