We have spoken with Mr. Abid from Mashreq bank team who was kind to attend our call, but his reply was that 7.5 K which is half of disputed amount taken as fraud from card ; 14 K dirhams, has been added to our card as cash back though bank informed earlier that they will waive half of the debit and other half can be paid on installments. Cash back is not an option and completely not what we agreed upon as original debit amount stays the same 14 thousand dirhams. Cash back not reflected as payment on card as customer service informed us. I don’t want cash back as I will not use my card or have intention to deal with bank in future. Iam raising this complaint because complaint resolution team is not clear with us and no systematic solution steps have been provided to help us solve our problem.REF-17123679-X2G2J1

10moDear CEO and Higher officials, I am looking for a solution to this. There are plenty of customers who write almost every day in Mashreq official posts on many social media sites, and none of you guys are bothered to give a resolution. The bank has insurance over every credit card shared with customers, but still, you guys are asking us to pay. I checked with many people who underwent such fraud acts; most of the banks support their customers and still keep them with them. But Mashreq doesn't want that; he only needs to give pain to the customer. I replaced my credit card and kept it inside my cupboard because I am not sure if I will use this card; it may happen again. Just imagine the security of its customers.
