More than 80% of pregnancy-related deaths in the United States are preventable. Yet, maternal mortality rates continue to rise, disproportionately impacting marginalized communities. The CDC’s recent findings shine a spotlight on this urgent crisis. Most maternal deaths occur from preventable causes, such as mental health challenges, hemorrhage, and cardiovascular conditions—issues that proper medical care and timely intervention could address. This isn’t just a statistic—it’s a call to action. 💡 What can we do? • Advocate for equitable access to healthcare for all mothers. • Support organizations addressing maternal health disparities. • Amplify the voices of those directly impacted by pregnancy and childbirth complications. No mother should die from preventable causes. It’s time for us to listen, advocate, and act. How can we, as a community, push for better maternal health outcomes? Let’s discuss in the comments. #MaternalHealth #HealthEquity #Advocacy
