Starting today, MBTA reduced fare program cards are being replaced with non-personalized cards. Program benefits will remain the same. Riders applying for a new or replacement Blind Access CharlieCard will receive a card that no longer includes their photo or a printed expiration date. By making this change, the MBTA is working to reduce the amount of time between a rider being approved for and receiving their new or replacement reduced fare CharlieCard.
