Mass General achieved, for the second time, accreditation for the Transition to Practice Program by the American Nursing Credentialing Center’s Practice to Transition Accreditation Program (PTAP). The Transition to Practice (TPP) has welcomed over 800 newly licensed nurses since our last accreditation four years ago. Since our first accreditation in Spring 2020, Mass General has welcomed over 850 nurse residents. Jen Curran, DNP, RN, NPD-BD, the program director of Mass General’s TPP, stated, “Our TPP results from a collective effort by many people at Mass General who work collaboratively. The accreditation of the TPP ensures that all newly licensed nurses can experience a robust residency program focused on nursing excellence, makes the transition from student to independent Registered Nurse easier and improves patient outcomes.”
Impressive achievement led by great team. Congratulations
