Do you want to buy my merchandise and music on my online store? 🎶 I am asking you because some of you are supporting and buying the music, and merch, but many aren't. Unfortunately, keeping the online store it costs money and if I don't sell a certain amount of products every year, I cannot afford to cover all the costs of keeping the online store. There are FANTASTIC , High quality cds, T-shirts, Posters, Bags, everything on a very reasonable price, even special prices for some items! Please let me know in the comments if there is anything I can Improve, in terms of design, and even music production. Your feedback is very important!! Just some TRANSPARENCY I need to have right now: Half of the money I make by selling the merch (including digital downloads) goes to cover the website subscription which I pay every 2 years, and it is not possible to have a free website with all the products/services I offer. If you want to support , you can find the link below to purchase merchandise, and book my services . ❤️ XX https://lnkd.in/eBcX7WNy #stellawembley #onlinestore #gothic #posters #cds

This is a worldwide trend that hospitality businesses should be aware of. Big nights out are dying. The UK is losing one club every two days. A total of 125 UK venues "abandoned" live music last year, with "more than half of them closing for good." According to the British Beer and Pub Association, a quarter of pubs have closed since 2000. Days may be numbered for the pub and nightclub, but we are seeing a shift to “experience-led” socializing instead, says Josh Noble in the Financial Times – meaning venues built around a game or sport, be it mini-golf, Formula One racing simulators or virtual clay-pigeon shooting. According to Savills, the number of such venues in the UK has jumped 40% since 2018 to nearly 600, marking “the biggest development the leisure sector has seen in decades.” https://buff.ly/4faXT72 #hoteldevelopment #hotelinvestment #hotelconstruction

Clubs' Death: The End of Late Nights? Nightlife, once the heartbeat of cities like Berlin, Buenos Aires, and Melbourne, faces an existential challenge according to this article by the Financial Times. The closure of iconic venues, such as Berlin’s Watergate, signals a shift. In #Berlin, cost pressures, fewer #late-night #tourists, and the preferences of #GenerationZ are reshaping #club culture. Meanwhile, in #Buenos Aires, known for its vibrant late-night scene, there’s a noticeable decline in post-3am events, reflecting global trends. Data from 15 cities analyzed by Resident Advisor shows a significant reduction in all-night events over the past decade. Drivers include the rise of daytime #parties, stricter #licensing rules post-COVID, and changing consumer habits. #Health-conscious younger generations are opting for early evening gatherings, while economic constraints deter late-night revelry. However, a paradox emerges: while nightclubs face closures and rising barriers to entry, the electronic #music industry is thriving. In 2023, it saw a 17% revenue growth, with a 90% surge in artist bookings over the past decade. This growth underscores a transformation rather than a decline. Younger audiences, driven by a desire for wellness and fiscal prudence, are embracing #festivals, daytime #raves, and earlier events as alternatives to traditional #clubbing. These new formats, though distinct, keep the spirit of dance music alive while challenging the traditional late-night model. Even #Melbourne, once a nightclub haven, has seen over 100 clubs shut down recently. Yet, dance music thrives. The electronic music industry’s 2023 revenue grew 17%, and artist bookings surged 90% over the past decade. This paradox highlights a shift from traditional clubbing to alternative communal experiences. As cities adapt, Buenos Aires, Berlin, and others must balance cultural preservation with evolving lifestyles. Are we witnessing the twilight of traditional nightlife or its transformation into something new? There's a fascinating connection between Baroque music and cognitive abilities, including mathematics. While there isn't a direct causal link between Baroque music and mathematical ability, research suggests that listening to Baroque music can have a positive impact on cognitive functions, including: 1. Spatial-temporal skills: Studies have shown that listening to Baroque music, particularly compositions by Mozart, Bach, and Vivaldi, can improve spatial-temporal skills, which are essential for problem-solving and mathematical reasoning. 2. Memory and concentration: Baroque music's complex structures and melodies can enhance memory and concentration, both of which are critical for mathematical learning and problem-solving. 3. Relaxation and reduced stress: Listening to Baroque music can create a relaxing and calming environment, reducing stress and anxiety, which can, in turn, improve focus and mental clarity, beneficial for mathematical tasks. The "Mozart Effect" is a well-known phenomenon that suggests listening to Mozart's music can temporarily improve spatial-temporal skills and boost intelligence. While this effect is still debated, research suggests that listening to complex, structured music, like Baroque music, can have cognitive benefits. To leverage the potential benefits of Baroque music on mathematical ability: 1. Listen to Baroque music while studying or working on math problems: Create a relaxing and focused environment with Baroque music in the background. 2. Use Baroque music as a pre-study warm-up: Listen to Baroque music for 10-15 minutes before starting math-related tasks to get your brain ready and focused. 3. Explore music-based math learning resources: Utilize educational resources that incorporate music, such as math-based songs or rhythmic exercises, to make learning more engaging and fun. While Baroque music may not directly influence mathematical ability, it can certainly contribute to a more conducive learning environment and improved cognitive functions. https://lnkd.in/dHehu6ii

📈 Dynamic pricing hits the news again!📈 The recent scramble for Oasis tickets has lead to a scramble to denounce dynamic pricing as demonic! But, as gig tickets are perishable and stadiums have a fixed inventory, shouldn't we expect this, as we do with planes, trains and automobiles (showing my age there... 😏) For me, the article misses the point, with the problem being that customers were not told in advance that this would be the case, arriving at point of purchase, only to find that their anticipated outlay had doubled! Let's not throw the baby out with the bathwater: many enjoy those cheap flights to Benidorm in January, subsidised by paying more in the Summer holidays; however, in my experience, when you violate the notion of what the general public perceive as fair, you should expect a spotlight to shine on your practices. An interesting debate! https://lnkd.in/exMiP4_t
