Perfect timing, close-to-heart decoration. 🎈🎈🎈What could be better day to analyze our Employee Pulse Survey results than Valentine's Day. Beyond the surprise and the funny momentum, we had an open talk about our collaboration and also our lives. Business partnering to our company, human partnering to one another. That is what matters the most.💚#myteam🫶 #schaeffler #strongertogether #automotive #emobility #hrbusinesspartnering

One of my goals for WIG - Work is Good is for it to be a company where people are not just a number. After years of working at big companies, I've identified two things that were clearly wrong to me: 1) The way people were treated. 2) The way projects were managed. These companies are too old-fashioned. ❌ They don't respect deadlines. ❌ Quality of deliverables is not a priority. ❌ People are just a number in a spreadsheet. The goal for WIG is still to become a product company. But we can fail at that and be okay. The one thing we CAN'T fail at is becoming a place people enjoy working at. WIG - Work is Good as a company should contribute to its team's well-being and professional satisfaction. We are and will continue to be a company 100% focused on its people. Our revenue and success will be simply a natural consequence of our team's dedication and happiness. This is our thesis. What do you think?

Today is Statement Day at Butler/Till, and that has me reflecting on all of the ways that employee ownership impacts our stakeholders. As an agency governed by an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP), every one of our employees is an owner, and every one of our owners is an employee. For employee-owners of Butler/Till, this means that they have a material stake in the success of the business. The work that we all do day-to-day benefits all of us. It's a mentality that is hard to describe until you've experienced it. It creates a culture of engagement and growth. For our clients, it means that their success is directly tied to the success of every single person who works on their business. It's kind of like getting that special service from the owner when you go to a restaurant. Our people own the business, and they are invested in the work they do for our clients. For our partners, it means collaboration with a group of people who are consistently seeking the collective win. As owners, we want to build things that solve problems and provide benefit for everyone involved. Every time I meet with partners, I hear how it's so refreshing to work with Butler/Till, because our people care about the work. So, today we'll celebrate our new share price and the statements that each of us will receive outlining the details of our individual ownership. That's a great feeling, but the spirit of employee ownership is anything but individual. It's about doing this work for each other. That's why today is my favorite work day of the year. Happy statement day to all of my fellow Butler/Till employee-owners. #employeeownership #ESOP #statementday
This week all 300+ of us are gearing up for our annual Statement Day! More than just a gathering for our employee-owners, Statement Day is our annual event where we come together to celebrate the hard work and dedication that drives our success as a company. As an ESOP, on Statement Day, each of us learns the value of our shares, a moment filled with excitement and a little confetti of course too! Learn more about our upcoming Statement Day in our recent blog. https://hubs.li/Q02zGCFw0

Employee Feature Friday! We are thrilled to spotlight Jared, our dynamic and dedicated Territory Manager from Calgary, as we celebrate his 3rd workiversary next week. Since joining EVS in 2021, Jared has made remarkable strides. Here's a glimpse into his journey and experience with us: Path to EVS Before joining EVS, Jared's career path was diverse and rich with experience. After graduating from university, he started as a salesperson in the landscaping field. A few years later, he expanded his sales expertise by working with formwork systems on large-scale projects like skyscrapers and bridges. Although formwork and beverage solutions are vastly different products, Jared's sales philosophy centers around #trust and #relationships. As he puts it, "If you can sell one thing, you can sell anything. It's all based on earning trust." A Day in Jared's Shoes Every day is a new adventure for Jared. He begins by tackling urgent emails before heading into the office to handle leads. After that, he's on the road, embracing the ever-changing nature of his role. Jared thrives on the #flexibility of his position and loves connecting with clients, believing that a five-minute in-person interaction is far more impactful than a 30-minute online meeting. Adventurous Spirit If Jared could sum up his experience at EVS in one word, it would be #adventurous. He enjoys the variety and challenges that each day brings, knowing that no plan is set in stone. “There’s no right or wrong answer or formula to sell; each client is different, and every day brings something new.” From navigating roadblocks to seizing new opportunities, Jared's journey with EVS is anything but routine. Why Jared Loves EVS Enjoyable Products: Jared finds joy in both consuming and selling our beverage solution products. Supportive Team: He values the camaraderie within the Prairies team, describing them as a supportive and collaborative. Flexibility: Jared appreciates the flexibility EVS offers in designing his day, allowing him to adapt and thrive in his role. We are lucky to have you on our team. Your adventurous spirit, dedication, and adaptability make you an invaluable asset to EVS. Keep shining, Jared! :)

I'm so glad I took some time today to learn how to grow this fast-growing market for the Latina community, hosted by ColorComm, Inc. **Key learnings**: - Cultural months are not to drive lower funnel revenue and purchases, it's to embrace their cultures. - Building for our community, positively impacts the bottom line - It's not just our cultural month. How do we use this momentum for the whole year? - Build WITH us. It's less performative for brands. Ask questions and connect with consumers. - How is this initiative impacting the Latina community? - How to show up and include Latina photographers, actors, directors, etc. to tell this story? - How are you doing this consistently? To build that long-term trust? - How do we meet people where they are? We need more representation (at the table, in the board rooms, behind cameras, etc). This is hard work, being the only. But if we continue to stay and keep challenging the work we create, we are showing kids today all the possibilities, so that we are no longer the ONLY. It's not a Latina story. Its an "everyone's story, but with Latina nuances and how we can authentically say we're not a monolith." #DEI #LatinaHeritage #CX #InclusiveDesign
