To host healthcare events or serve patients? We are here to serve patients and their families and that is where our resources belong. I struggle when I see post from industry colleagues hosting parties at facilities and celebrating National healthcare weeks/months or doing activities because ultimately who are those cost passed on to? It’s our healthcare system. Yes, it’s nice to do and it generates business for those businesses hosting the events (yes, I will say inticement) but at the cost of our healthcare system. Why is this a standard practice?
