This picture means something to me 💜 I have a lot of love and respect for these women. We all somehow came together through this platform, connecting at various stages of our founder and career journeys. All of us were on a mission to make recruitment fair, to challenge the status quo, and to create a safer and more positive space for candidates. We’d grown tired of the industry that we love placing unnecessary barriers in front of underrepresented talent and tying itself in knots trying to fix talent pipelines with repetitive, outdated solutions. Seeing Lillie Ubeid and Rachael Moss come together formally with Helen McGuire and Hayley Bakker (She/ Her) last year as Access Volcanic acquired Diversely.io - An Access Company was a milestone moment. It gave me a bag full of hope! Our industry IS evolving, and things are changing, despite what the 🦕🦖 still plug on stage and in their social feeds. And moving into 2024, literally thousands of recruitment agencies now have access to Diverselys tools. My prediction is that we will now see a step-change in the way agencies start to think about representation, inclusive recruitment, accessibility and DEI. 🔮🔮🔮 Our clients WILL be interested in our newly established access to such tools and will expect us to know how they work and benefit them and the recruitment process. I couldn't think of a more perfect BD project for anyone using an Access Volcanic platform. The next big challenge... All the gear and no idea. This stuff could, unfortunately, gather dust without the education, understanding and DEI TRAINING.
