Cohesion doesn’t happen overnight. When our Brand Team was created at the start of this year, we knew we were embarking on a journey that would challenge us to rethink processes, break down silos, and align product, institutional, and researcher marketing like never before. It’s been a year of growing pains and meaningful progress. We’ve created shared templates, invested in newer CDP and data integration platforms, bridged workflows with the DMO team, and worked more closely with sales to scale our efforts globally. Most importantly, we’ve fostered a culture of collaboration that will serve us—and our customers—well into the future. I’m excited to continue this momentum and see what we can accomplish in 2025! #holidaymiracle #teamworkmakesthedreamwork #cohesioninaction #collaborationgoals #marketinginnovation #marketingalignment

Everyone remembered the Nilla Wafers and taco nights. Had the honor of attending a celebration of life for a 99- and 103-year-old couple who passed within a year of one another. As I didn’t know the couple well, I wasn’t sure what to expect from the service or to be as deeply moved as I was by the stories that were shared. I was struck by how much of my time I spend thinking about things that won’t make much of a difference in the impact I make during my short time here. As I think about the legacy I leave, I will look to Marg and Lloyd for the example they set. My takeaways: • What their children, grandchildren and great grandchildren remembered most was their love, the way they lived their lives, and how they treated others. • Memories were mostly about quality time spent with family (often over tacos and Nilla wafers). Traditions matter. • What they said mattered much less than what they did. How does this relate to my approach to work and life? • The relationships I build along the way are worth far more than the title or the paycheck. • The traditions we create don’t have to be Instaworthy, they just have to be real. • The moments matter. Between coworkers, friends and families. Take the time, make the connections. Everyone wins.

Christmas is a special time for family, especially our beloved grandparents here in South Central Pennsylvania. This year, let's make their holiday unforgettable at home. 🎄 Here's how you can create a heartfelt celebration: 1️⃣ Personal Touch: Decorate with family-made crafts and photos. It’s amazing how personal touches add warmth. 2️⃣ A Stroll Down Memory Lane: Gather old home videos or photos and spend time reminiscing. It’s like a trip back in time for everyone. 3️⃣ Favorite Foods: Cook a meal using grandma or grandpa's favorite recipes. The power of food lies in its ability to bring people together. 4️⃣ Virtual Family Gathering: For those who can't be there in person, organize a video call. It bridges the distance and keeps everyone connected. 5️⃣ Simple Joys: Remember, sometimes the best gifts are just your presence and laughter. Make sure to share both in abundance. A little effort goes a long way in creating joy and cherished memories for our grandparents. How are you planning to celebrate with your family? 💬

🎅 The Story of Santa Claus: A Blend of History, Marketing, and Magic 🎄 Santa Claus is more than just a symbol of holiday cheer — he’s a fascinating blend of tradition and modern creativity. Did you know? The roots of Santa trace back to Saint Nicholas, a 4th-century bishop renowned for his kindness and generosity. Over time, folklore transformed him into a magical figure who embodies giving and joy. But it was Coca-Cola in the 1930s that gave Santa his now-iconic look. Illustrator Haddon Sundblom created the jolly, red-suited figure that has become synonymous with Christmas. Why it matters: Santa is a reminder of how powerful storytelling and branding can be. His evolution from a historical figure to a global cultural icon shows the impact of creativity, consistency, and connection. What we can learn: 1️⃣ Generosity builds trust – Whether in life or business, giving without expecting in return creates lasting relationships. 2️⃣ Consistency shapes identity – Santa’s consistent image for decades shows the power of a clear, enduring message. 3️⃣ The magic of joy – Small acts of kindness, much like Santa’s gifts, can bring light to others. As we wrap up the year, let’s channel a little Santa spirit in our lives and work: spread joy, inspire others, and create a legacy worth celebrating. 🎁✨ What’s your favorite Santa story or holiday tradition? Saturday Thoughts: Personal Bests, Turkey Trots, and a Lions Victory 🏃♂️🦃🏈 This Thanksgiving, I’m celebrating a couple of wins—one personal and one for my hometown team. First up, I set a personal record in the Detroit Turkey Trot 10K! (less than 59 minutes!) See how we look after our runs below in the <30 degrees. 🏅 Running through the streets of Detroit with my kids cheering me on was an incredible experience. The energy of the crowd (pretty amazing to run through the parade crowd), the challenge of pushing myself, and the chance to create new memories with my family made it all worthwhile. And if that wasn’t enough to make my Thanksgiving unforgettable, the Detroit Lions came through with a win over the Chicago Bears! Sorry, Chi - the D will always be home! 🦁💙 Watching the Lions play, whether if it was with Barry Sanders, Megatron, Matthew Stafford and now with Dan Campbell/Jared Goff (and win!) on Thanksgiving is a tradition that feels as classic as turkey and apple pie - with or without the botched Chicago timeout?! Why This Thanksgiving Felt Special 💪 Chasing Goals: Whether it’s running a race or building a multifamily real estate fund, setting goals and striving to beat them is what keeps me motivated. Achieving this PR reminded me that hard work pays off. 🏡 Family and Traditions: Running the Turkey Trot and watching the Lions with my kids felt like a perfect balance of fitness, fun, and family. Traditions like these are about creating lasting memories. 🙌 Gratitude: From personal achievements to shared moments with loved ones, there’s so much to be thankful for this year. Here’s to chasing goals, celebrating wins—big or small—and appreciating the journey along the way.

I just returned home this weekend from a big regional area meet in Pensacola and saw this. Wanted to share it as this is the beauty of cross country and how it would apply if we used that same spirit in our work and personal lives. These are not my words but as a 7+ year cross country mom, they very well could be. —- What if we lived life like we were all in a cross country meet? What if we watched other people and recognized that we're all just trying to get across the finish line? What if we understood that some people are running as hard as they can but battling illnesses, invisible injuries, and internal struggles? Every step is hard, but they're trying not to quit. What if we cheered for everyone even if they weren't on our team? What if we realized just finishing something, no matter how long it took us or how messy it seemed, was enough? In fact, it was a win. What if we used every race as an opportunity to learn more about ourselves and how we could use each other for support, inspiration, and help to reach our goals? What if we cheered loud for the winner, but even louder for the one who comes in after because they accomplished something great, too? In a world that tells us it's about me, me, me, what if we started living to support everyone brave enough to be in the race? What if we started treating our lives like we were all in the same cross country meet? What a beautiful world that would be. Love hard. Whitney Fleming Writes

Valuing the moments shared with those who have nurtured us is essential for fostering profound connections and creating enduring memories. Families can enhance these relationships by prioritizing quality time spent together, whether through regular family dinners, engaging game nights, or casual conversations that promote laughter and connection. Sharing stories from the past enriches these experiences, enabling all members to gain insights into their family’s history and the invaluable lessons that have shaped their lives. Establishing or maintaining family traditions—such as holiday celebrations, annual trips, or cherished recipes—instills a sense of continuity and belonging. Additionally, creating a memory book filled with photographs and treasured mementos serves as a tangible reminder of shared experiences. Embracing new adventures, such as experimenting with unfamiliar recipes or exploring new destinations, can also strengthen relationships. Volunteering as a family reinforces shared values and a collective sense of purpose. But it's in moments of mindfulness and reflection that we truly cultivate gratitude and appreciation for one another. Celebrating milestones, ranging from birthdays to personal achievements, as well as embarking on journeys together—whether through short trips or weekend getaways—transforms ordinary days into extraordinary memories. By intentionally nurturing and savoring these moments, families can construct a rich tapestry of treasured memories that will endure for generations.

How was your Thanksgiving — filled with laughter, love, and connection, or memorable for all the wrong reasons? Across the country, families gathered around turkey and dressing, sharing stories and giving thanks for their blessings. But not everyone’s Thanksgiving was picture-perfect. Some faced the bittersweet absence of loved ones, family tensions, or obstacles that kept them apart. Even if this year wasn’t all you hoped for, think back to the moments that shaped you — joyful or challenging. Those experiences taught you lessons, shaped your values, and instilled a wisdom that defines who you are today. That hard-earned wisdom and the values you hold dear are the foundation of your legacy. Imagine the impact those stories and lessons could have on your children, grandchildren, and beyond. Preserving them isn’t just about reflection — it’s about making sure the best of you lives on. This holiday season, take a moment to reflect: What stories, lessons, and values are you thankful for? How will you ensure they’re remembered? Your legacy deserves to be treasured.
