Getting started with a brand-new year ✅ LUSTER is more alive than ever before… Last year was all about changes ➡️ I’ve taken a step forward to collaborate more closely with my long-time partners, which I consider as Luster’s Core team. This single decision has shifted my perspective on collaboration, as I’m more open into sharing and giving more. And yes, it’s taking more time and effort from my end to align everything up. But for me, it’s a safe bet. The core team is made out of the most resilient, learning-craving persons I’ve ever met. Most importantly, they are amazing people in a personal level. As we set the path forward, they deserve recognition Santiago Axel Mc Allister Matias Andreozzi Lella Agustín Cabeza 🚩Talking about the culture we’ve built, we embrace bottom-up continuous learning. Everyone in their role can share valuable insights, regardless of the task. Sometimes, we find value on the little details that someone may find miscellaneous. As architects, we do care about details and go deep in our methods (for everything, no jokes) ✅Our workflow is increasingly dynamic. We admit our mistakes and make the necessary changes to avoid similar situations. This attitude shifts our view on previous “useful” work techniques, and allow space for new opportunities. 📈And Last but not least, Numbers don’t lie… We’ve completed more than one hundred projects in 2023. I’m amazed by the variety of projects we’ve received, and how they turned out. From Art Galleries, to big-scale Siteplans, we managed to get the most out of these projects To witness the combined efforts, have a look at our amazing portfolio here https://buff.ly/3O5GaSZ I wish you a great year ahead! LET’S GO 🚀

Celebrating 50 Years of Vision in The Woodlands Yesterday, October 19th, my family and I had the pleasure of experiencing the most amazing firework and drone show, which beautifully capped off a week-long celebration of The Woodlands 50th anniversary. It was a powerful reminder of what makes this community so special—and how visionary leadership can create something truly lasting. I couldn’t be prouder to call this incredible place my home. George P. Mitchell’s vision for The Woodlands was not just about urban planning; it’s a philosophy that has shaped this beautiful area into the perfect place to live and raise a family. His words have always resonated with me: “If you want to create something, you must have a vision. We sought from the beginning to understand the land so that we could mold the lesser works of man with the greater works of nature.” — George P. Mitchell, Founder, The Woodlands, Texas This quote applies not only to how The Woodlands was built but also to how I approach product management. Just as Mitchell sought to understand the land to create a community in harmony with nature, in product management, we must deeply understand our users, their needs, and the market environment to build products that truly resonate. Vision is the foundation of every successful product. Without it, we’re just adding features for the sake of building. Much like The Woodlands, great products need a purpose and a long-term strategy. Understanding the environment is key—whether it’s the land, market trends, or customer needs. Just as The Woodlands was designed to blend human innovation with the natural world, our products must integrate seamlessly into users’ lives, enhancing their experiences without disruption. Mitchell’s approach reminds me that true innovation doesn’t mean reinventing everything—it’s about finding balance between new ideas and the systems already in place. It’s about creating solutions that feel natural to users, and that’s what I strive for every day in product management. The fireworks and drone show were the perfect metaphor for balancing innovation with respect for what already exists—a reminder of how we should approach building products in the SaaS space. Here’s to 50 years of vision, harmony, and growth in The Woodlands—and to building products with the same commitment to vision and balance. 🌳 🎉🌲 #TheWoodlands50 #ProudResident #ProductManagement #VisionAndInnovation #SaaS #FamilyLife #TheWoodlands #TWTX

Remember that epic post-college road trip I mentioned the other day? Well, here's the part I didn't tell you: We almost didn't make it past day three. 😅 Why? Because we had a destination but no real plan. Sound familiar? In road trips, that's kind of part of the fun. No so much in business. It's relatively easy to get others (and ourselves) excited about the 'where' and trust we'll figure out the 'how' along the way. It rarely works out that cleanly. So let's talk about that crucial question: "How will we get there?" Here's what I learned (the hard way): 🔀 Expect detours: Unexpected construction and massive mechanical failures forced us to reroute more than few times. In your work, how do you handle unexpected challenges? 🛣️ Enjoy the journey: Some of our best memories were from unplanned stops. How can you celebrate small wins along the way to your big goals? 📻 Know your roles: We quickly had to figure out who was best at navigation, who was the snack master, and who was the DJ. Clear roles reduce friction and boost efficiency. How clear are the roles in your team? Here's a challenge for you: Take 10 minutes today to sketch out your 'road map' for your current big project. What's the path? What are your contingencies? What are the key roles? Run it by your team and see how it resonates. Remember, it's not just about the destination. The 'how' shapes the entire journey. #LeadershipLessons #ProjectPlanning #TeamworkMakesTheDreamWork

Happy Monday! Kids went to zoo camp this morning, only to find out that we never actually signed them up for the second week of zoo camp. Oops. Luckily they had cancellations, so we were able to get them in - otherwise they would have been home this week, which isn't awesome, but still ok. Turns out there are many solutions to a problem - some are ok, while others are optimal. Knowing how to pivot last minute when scaling problems arise comes with experience; you don't want to sacrifice what makes your brand unique when hurdles pop up (and they always pop up). This is the value of working with those that have been down these paths before. We can see the challenges ahead before they become urgent, whether you are scaling into your first line or landing your next coman. Post-launch scaling is just as challenging as launching, so hold on to our information for when you need to talk about value engineering or root cause analysis. We are here to make sure your brand can compete at the large scale by taking the lessons of the large scale and applying them (ONLY when they make sense for your scale) to save you money.

Fractional CRO | Building Hawaii's Pipeline of Startups, Agencies & GTM Leaders | Previously Crunchbase & Wildfire Interactive (acquired by Google)
🛶 What "paddling" (Outrigger Canoe) taught me about building a startup in Hawaii. 🌊 The biggest lesson I learned is that you can’t pull the boat on your own. Every catch, stroke, and recovery has to be in perfect harmony to feel the boat effortlessly glide through the water. Each seat in the canoe has a specific purpose, and we’ve mirrored these roles on our team at /'gīdens/: Seat 1 - Stroker (GTM): Sets the pace for the rest of the boat. At Gidens, this role finds message-market fit, while also setting and executing on our growth goals. Seat 2 - 2nd Stroker (User Research): Mirrors Seat 1, ensuring we learn as quickly as we grow. This role identifies customer pain points and validates solutions through rapid customer feedback and usability testing. Seat 3 - Engine 1 (UX): This role ensures the boat stays in sync, balancing power and harmony. Positioned at the core, they decide when to "shift gears" for smooth transitions, crafting a seamless and intuitive customer experience. Seat 4 - Engine 2 (Full Stack Developer): The powerhouse of the team, this role does the heavy lifting, driving the boat forward. Focused on execution, they build and maintain the end-to-end development of the product. Seat 5 - Engine 3 (Front End Developer): A key power seat, this role combines force with finesse. They drive the boat forward while ensuring the product is visually engaging and user-friendly, working seamlessly with Seats 3 and 4 to maintain momentum and deliver a polished experience. Seat 6 - Steersman (Product): The captain of the boat, this role charts the course and keeps the team aligned. They steer the overall vision and strategy, ensuring the team navigates obstacles and stays on the path to success. 🚣 I'm so grateful for experiencing one of Hawaii's oldest traditions and after completing my first Regatta season as a Novice B, I have a deeper appreciation for what it means to work together as one. Paddling truly gave me a new perspective on the age-old phrase, “having the right person in the right seat”—whether it’s on the bus or, in this case, in the boat. Keep following /'gīdens/ to see how this philosophy helps our team build an AI-enabled advisor for small business owners. #Hawaii #BlueStartups #PreSeed #SmallBusiness #AI
