Associate Art Director at MWG! Are you a design enthusiast with a passion for visual storytelling? If so, we want to hear from you! MWG a leading advertising agency, is seeking a talented Associate Art Director to join our creative team. You will play a crucial role in shaping the visual aspects of advertising campaigns and interpreting our clients’ needs into impactful designs. Key Responsibilities: • Generates clear ideas and concepts in tandem with the copywriter. • Produces sketches, storyboards, and art layouts based on creative visions and ideas. • Understands marketing initiatives, strategic positioning, and target audience. • Collaborates with the rest of the creative team across different types of media. • Takes work from concept to final execution within deadlines. • Manages and delegates responsibilities to other designers and provides directions. • Presents completed ideas to clients/team members. Qualifications: • BSc/BA in advertising, art, fine art, design, or a relevant field. • Proven 5-7 years of hands-on experience in similar roles. • Hands-on experience with logo design, typography, color, web layout design, print production, image selection, and package design. • Proficient use of InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, or other visual design and wire-framing tools. • Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio. • Artistic Ability: Responsible for the overall look and feel of a project, from its conception to its execution. • Creativity: Ability to come up with new and innovative ideas. • Communication: Ability to articulate ideas clearly and persuasively, and listen to others and take direction. • Leadership: Ability to motivate and inspire people to achieve a common goal. • Management: Ability to manage people and projects, coordinate the efforts of a team and ensure that deadlines are met. • Organization: Ability to keep track of all the different elements that go into a project, and make sure that everything is running smoothly. • Planning: Ability to visualize the overall look and feel of a project, and ensure that all elements are cohesive. • Problem Solving: Ability to troubleshoot any issues that may arise during the creative process. • Research: Ability to find inspiration for their work, as well as to understand the work of other artists. • Time Management: Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. • Writing: Ability to write clear, concise, and well-crafted copy.
