This was an amazing event. The number of Manufacturers and policymakers who attended the event is an indication that we all recognized there is an urgent need to do more to support Canadian Manufacturers. The day’s discussion focused on advocacy, collaboration, learning, and local economic impact—it truly showcased the power of collective expertise and the strength of community. The insights shared on topics like workforce shortages, technology adoption, and diversity and inclusion provided actionable steps to drive growth, create opportunities, and build a more sustainable future for the industry. My personal hope is that smaller, focus groups come out of this session to take on specific challenges and implement workable solutions.
