🐝 Wonder what beehives have in common with large scale green hydrogen production? ☀️ Two weeks ago, we joined the Connecting Green Hydrogen Europe 2024 conference in Madrid! While it was a great opportunity to meet partners and industry leaders, it was also the occasion for our colleague Sam de Haas to reflect on the #hydrogeneconomy, and how to integrate large-scale hydrogen production into the #energysystem. Our members, bp and Protium, have been highlighted for their work in hydrogen in an article titled 'Meet The Contenders Racing To Complete The Energy Transition'. bp is commended for bringing its technical skills and balance sheets to give HyGreen Teeside its ambition to become one of the largest hydrogen production facilities in the UK by using solar and wind to generate hydrogen made through electrolysis.
