This example of second-guessing by REMFs disgusts me; especially because they often superpose their own beliefs of how combat ought to occur while ignoring the fact that soldiers make decisions under situations that are "tense, uncertain and rapidly evolving." I have seen this done by sometimes well-meaning (sometimes malicious -- those seeking their "My Lai moment") Judge Advocates who simply don't know what they don't know. A group of my friends and I tried to invite Army JAGs to a force-on-force training iteration at Quantico, but were repeatedly ignored by Army leadership, who said things like, "Bolgiano and his FBI buddies are teaching soldiers to be trigger happy." Then, one JAG Colonel even called my supervisor at the Army War College in an attempt to bad mouth me ... thankfully, my War College boss told him to pound sand. No, this is not the same great America who is the beacon of light to the rest of the world. This is the kind of world brought to you by the left. Where all common sense has been lost. Where good has become bad, and bad now “good” and now justified for unclear purposes, and even worse, done blatantly without regard or repercussion. Nothing is right when even one thing is wrong, and we now have plenty of “wrong” running rampant. When will enough be enough? Does your current president care? Are you kidding me! Does the main stream media find this dichotomy troubling? Not on your life! Those currently in power turn a blind eye for one reason and one reason alone: YOU DONT MATTER TO THEM!! It is that simple. DC is a cesspool of narcissists with tunnel vision who only care about themselves and their own standing, catered to by the MSM with their own biased agendas. Can it be stopped or changed? Only if you want it to. Stop pretending that just because it may not be directly impacting you that it eventually won’t, because it will. This is just common sense stuff. You don’t have to be a politician or rocket scientist to figure it out, all you have to do is care. Again, what will it take? What needs to happen that hasn’t already happened? Just look to our open borders to figure it out. If that does not help you, nothing will. Be smart. Be a force of change! 🇺🇸🇺🇸

My fellow prospective and futures COs, it doesn’t have to be this way. If you think you might have theses tendencies, take some training. On your own. Self reflection. Emotional Intelligence. Conflict resolution. Figure out ways to move from the top left hand of the MB box and move toward the middle. You can lead and be successful without this type of behavior.

IRS Criminal Investigation, Los Angeles FO: James Soriano of #LasVegas, a former civilian employee of #SanDiego based Naval Information Warfare Center, and Russell Thurston, a former executive with a South Carolina defense contractor, were #charged in an unsealed #indictment with participating in a #bribery scheme involving more than $100 million in #governmentcontracts.
