“THANKFULNESS OPENS THE DOOR to My Presence. Though I am always with you, I have gone to great measures to preserve your freedom of choice. I have placed a door between you and Me, and I have empowered you to open or close that door. There are many ways to open it, but a grateful attitude is one of the most effective. Thankfulness is built on a substructure of trust. When thankful words stick in your throat, you need to check up on your foundation of trust. When thankfulness flows freely from your heart and lips, let your gratitude draw you closer to Me. I want you to learn the art of giving thanks in all circumstances. See how many times you can thank Me daily; this will awaken your awareness to a multitude of blessings. It will also cushion the impact of trials when they come against you. Practice My Presence by practicing the discipline of thankfulness.”

Having good methods and strategies to cultivate gratitude is a key to life. A simple approach to promoting gratitude in your life can be to become very present and aware in a moment of reflection. Things as simple as a soft pillow or warm water to wash your face can make a world of difference when you appreciate the access you have to such luxuries. Identify things in life you are thankful for. Anchor and ground yourself in the moment, and give thanks for the thing or the person or relationship that has brought comfort and blessing to your life.

Let the gratefulness overflow into blessing all around you. Then it will really be a good day.” - Brother David Steindl-Rast Despite knowing loss, I lift myself up with gratitude and joy. I will smile at everyone I meet today. (And I am still giving compliments every day, too.) You can try this by: 1. Spending time with people who uplift and support you 2. Sharing laughter and fun experiences with others 3. Smiling at everyone you meet today to spread your joy 4. Trying new hobbies that bring a "fresh" source of happiness Try to spread gratitude to brighten others' days. How will you spread your joy today?

Gratitude acts as a gentle guide, transforming ordinary occurrences into extraordinary blessings. It's about appreciating the warmth of the sun on your face, the soothing sound of raindrops, and the simple joy of a shared laughter. When we embrace thankfulness, even challenges become stepping stones rather than obstacles. Gratitude connects us to the beauty of existence. It's the antidote to stress, a beacon in the darkest hours, and a constant reminder that life, with all its imperfections, is a precious gift. It's the recognition that there is always something to be thankful for, even on the most challenging days. Living a life of thankfulness is not just an attitude; it's a transformative power that turns the ordinary into the extraordinary, making every moment a celebration of the richness of existence.

1/30 Gratitude challenge 3 things that made me special. Life- I want to use this opportunity to thank God for the gift of life and His endless blessings and unwavering love, His guidance lights my path and His grace that sustained me during my last childbirth when Devil wanted to steal my life but the Almighty God disgraced him and save my life. Empathy- some times we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a listening ear, a word of encouragement, a sincere compliment and that little care, and all have the ability to turn life a around. Honest- it creates and build trust, genuine relationships and connections. it is difficult to maintain a good relationship anywhere you found yourself without trust and it's the foundation of a good life. Will to Learn- I am willing to learn and adapt to positive change.

Cannot stress this more - your perspective under any circumstance determines your strength, energy and grit (vasbyt- vermoë). And the people around you either pull you up or push you down. How do you see life? What is the lens you use to look at life? Are you looking through rose coloured lenses? Or is it cloudy and merky? Do you practice gratitude? Do you feel that pull in your stomach every time someone close to you are negative? Or the wind beneath your wings if there is positive vibes around you? And when you sit and figure that out, ask yourself the question, am I a person that lie heavy on other’s lives? Or do I lift them up with positivity and gratitude? As for me and my house - we will serve the Lord, living in gratitude for today, saying thanks for His provision for today, helping others where we can. I do not say it is easy, but I do believe positivity saves lives, and negativity can kill your body.
