I just wanted to take a moment to thank everyone on this platform who has liked, shared, or commented on our posts– it has genuinely made a huge difference in our growth this year. As the founder of this organization, I've witnessed firsthand the staggering disparity between food excess and scarcity in our country. Nearly 40% of our food supply goes to waste, while simultaneously, 44 million Americans face the challenge of food insecurity. At Sharing Excess, we're dedicated to solving this paradox by rescuing surplus food and delivering it to communities in need. Our mission is not just about providing food; it's about revolutionizing food sharing to overcome the logistical barriers that often hinder food rescue and redistribution. I know you’re probably being bombarded with Giving Tuesday requests from many amazing organizations– but we need your support. I hope that our work stands out as being a highly impactful use of your donations today, as we are able to provide 160 meals for every $10 donated.
