Recently delivered a presentation on the importance of having branding assets ready to deploy for maximum 'WOW!' impact across a range of digital media marketing channels. Crunched the numbers on the 7-point 'digital marketing branding health-check survey' conducted after last week's presentation at the BNI Triton referral networking meeting in Brisbane and, although the sample size wasn't statistically significant, the responses painted an interesting picture! Although between two-thirds and three-quarters of respondents acknowledged having a Brand Guide for their business, barely half expressed knowledge of its components across a majority (four out of seven) of the survey topics. Awareness of, and confidence in applying, these crucial elements in the digital marketing space was even less - and we were very grateful for the honesty in these responses, as it indicates where more investment in educating and empowering prospective Masthead Design & Creative clients could potentially reap rewards for any business, particularly smaller ones and sole traders.
