Here's a simplified breakdown: YouTube's algorithm is like a DJ at a party, selecting which tunes to play based on what the crowd likes. When you upload a video, YouTube tests it out with a small group of viewers, say 100 people. If those initial viewers groove to your video—watching it for a good chunk of time—YouTube nods approvingly. It sees your video as a hit and decides to crank up the volume, pushing it out to a bigger audience, maybe around 500 people this time. This process keeps repeating.
