🚀 Is Hiring for Talent and Potential the Way Forward? 🚀 Lately, I've been thinking about the whole idea of the "perfect fit" in hiring. In finance, we're often on the lookout for candidates who tick all the boxes. But maybe, just maybe, we should shift our focus a bit. There's something to be said for hiring people with raw talent and genuine passion. They bring fresh perspectives and energy, sparking innovation and driving the team forward in unexpected ways. What if we started hiring for potential? These are the people who might not have every qualification yet but are eager to learn and grow. Investing in their development could mean big returns for the company down the line. When you build a team based on diverse talents and potential, you get adaptability and resilience. It’s exciting to see how different strengths come together to create something greater. Personally, I always try to share this perspective with my clients. It's not about finding someone who ticks every box but about recognizing and nurturing potential. Every time I see it in action, it reinforces my belief in this approach. Just some food for thought. Have you seen the impact of hiring for talent and potential in your organization? Would love to hear your experiences! #TalentAcquisition #HiringStrategy #CareerGrowth #TeamBuilding #Recruitment #FinanceIndustry #Luxembourg

Hiring managers hire for both reasons (talent/potential and perfect ground). Although how each hiring manager defines both reasons may vary. They hire with logic (perfect ground) and emotions (talent and potential) too. Hiring for a sole reason may or may not always be favorable especially in varying roles. A little bit here and there should form basis for hiring candidates for a role. Matteo MASIERO
