Matter is Riding to End Youth Homelessness On November 15th, we’re joining the Healesville Tour de PIF: Tour for Homeless Youth - a cycling challenge dedicated to raising funds to provide young Australians facing homelessness with a safe, secure home. Every night, 46,000 young people experience homelessness and half of them are turned away from accommodation services. Through the Property Industry Foundation, we have a chance to make a real difference. Every donation helps build much-needed housing and provides ongoing support for young people in need. With in-kind contributions from the property and construction industry, every $1 donated is doubled in value. Our goal is to raise $2,000, and we need your help to reach it. Let’s allow homeless youth to shape their own futures. Click here: https://lnkd.in/eynvfVwm to sponsor our team and help us make a lasting impact. Together, we can help end youth homelessness. #TourDePIF #TeamMatter #EndYouthHomelessness #SupportTheCause #DonateNow

🌟Myth: Donating to Homelessness Charities Doesn’t Make a Difference 🌟Reality: Every contribution counts. Your support helps us provide vital identification documents that open doors to housing, employment, and a fresh start for those in need. Without these essential IDs, many individuals remain stuck in a cycle of homelessness, unable to access the services that can change their lives. In fact, just $12 gets a state ID in the hands of someone looking to end their homelessness! At Homeless ID Project, we see the impact of every donation firsthand. Each dollar goes toward helping someone take that critical first step toward stability and independence. Want to make a difference? Your donation can help us continue this life-changing work. Donate Today: HIDP.org and click ‘Donate’ or text hidp to 44321. Let’s work together to give everyone the opportunity for a fresh start. ❤️ #EndHomelessness #HomelessIDProject #EveryDonationCounts #SupportChange #MakeADifference

We evaluated our support to #SmallButVital charities in the homelessness sector to understand its impact on people and communities. Housing and homelessness charities are a long-standing and significant part of our funding portfolio, and broadly representative of the small charities we support – they are often in the eye of the storm and feel the bluntest effects of austerity. We looked at the impact of our funding, development support and influencing work on people, charities, communities and society. The emerging findings continue to demonstrate the importance of strong relationships, unrestricted funding and building a thriving and resilient population of smaller charities against a backdrop of sustained deterioration in the underlying operating environment. It’s #GivingTuesday!💕 Today, I ask your support in helping One Happy Mama raise $5,000 to create an emergency housing fund for the young mothers in our community. At One Happy Mama, we believe that every mother deserves a safe and stable place to call home. Unfortunately, housing instability is a major challenge for many young mothers. According to the National Low Income Housing Coalition, 1 in 4 households with children experience some form of housing insecurity. For these moms, a lack of stable housing makes it even harder to break the cycle of poverty, focus on their goals, and care for their children. With your help, we can ensure these mothers have access to the support they need during times of crisis. One Happy Mama is a community-driven organization, and it’s because of YOUR support that we can continue to make a lasting impact in the lives of the families we serve. Please consider donating today and be a part of this mission to help moms stay grounded and thrive. 💕 https://lnkd.in/gTQUKGBk #onehappymama #SupportMoms #CommunityCare #HousingForAll #momnonprofit #nonprofitsformoms

Join Us for the Coldest Night of the Year 2025! ❄️ Did you know that 1,400 youth in Ottawa experience homelessness every year? This is one of their stories: “YSB opens doors to brighter futures, filled with possibilities that many young people never thought were within their reach. YSB gave me a safe place to call home and introduced me to incredible people who are still a part of my life.” – Cassandra For the 5th year, YSB is proud to participate in #CNOY25 on February 22nd. Over the years, this incredible event has helped us raise over $100,000 to support young people in our community who rely on YSB’s two youth shelters. This year, we’re aiming to raise $30,000 to ensure homeless youth aged 16–20 have access to a safe, supportive space. These shelters provide more than just a roof—they offer compassion, community, and the tools to rebuild lives. 🌟 Get Involved! 🌟 Form a team or join as an individual Donate to help us reach our goal Spread the word to show your support It’s cold out there, but together, we can make a difference. 💙 Sign up or donate today: https://lnkd.in/e3QByPrV #CNOY25 #YSBOtt #EndYouthHomelessness #OttawaCommunity #OttawaCentretown Glebe BIA The Home Depot Canada Centretown BIA

You can help BE THE CHANGE by donating to the registered 501(c)(3), Choose love. Celebrate life. A Foundation for Youth and Families, Inc. Or joining the CLCL team to create evidence-based, trauma-informed, antiracist and inclusive programs. Did you know that unaffordable housing is just one factor which can escalate homelessness and housing insecurity? The vital funds raised from #CEOSleepout Oxford help support the people of Oxfordshire who are experiencing homelessness. You helped us raise a whopping £76,500 last year for #CEOSleepout Oxford but this time we want to make it bigger and better and achieve our goal total of £100,000 ⭐️ If you’re a business owner, CEO, Director, or Partner in Oxfordshire then you can sign up to help raise vital funds for those in need. Every penny you raise goes towards helping people in need. 💡 £10 could help someone attend vital appointments and help rebuild their life 💡 £30 could enable someone to be self-sufficient in their new home 💡 £50 could help someone receive emotional support and guidance to help them recover from the trauma of homelessness Whether you come on your own or as a group, you’ll be joining people who care about our local communities, all raising money via sponsorship or donation. All you need is a big heart, a sleeping bag and a willingness to fundraise or donate £1,000. Get involved through the link here 👉 https://lnkd.in/eeXqBjmr
