Building your own path is about more than just achieving financial success—it's about creating a secure and prosperous future for yourself and your family. When you set meaningful goals, you lay the foundation for a journey filled with purpose and motivation. Setting these goals starts with understanding what truly matters to you. Maybe it’s ensuring your children have access to the best education, or maybe it’s about having a comfortable retirement where you can enjoy the fruits of your labour. Whatever your aspirations, having clear and meaningful goals is the first step in making them a reality. But building your own path also means protecting what you’ve worked hard to achieve. Life can be unpredictable, and it’s crucial to have safeguards in place to protect your family and your investments. This means considering critical illness insurance, disability insurance, and life insurance to ensure that your plans remain intact, even when faced with unexpected challenges. When you protect your investments and your family, you ensure that your goals remain within reach. It’s not just about the destination but also about having the peace of mind that comes from knowing you’re prepared for whatever life throws your way. Principal with Desert Moon Financial & Insurance Solutions LLC. Helping individuals & business owners to create, build, and preserve wealth
"Family is not an important thing. It's everything." - Michale J. Fox. This is one of my most favorite pictures. It serves as a reminder of what I hold closest to my heart. Sound financial wellness plans begin with strong foundations. The base of a good plan includes protective measures to safeguard the people we love, the home that gives them security and a future that is secure. Adversity can come in many shapes and sizes. No one can predict what these are or how they will influence our lives, but we can certainly be prudent and put measures in place to ensure we are prepared. September is Life Insurance Awareness month and I wanted to be sure to take pause to educate and inform about the importance of this financial asset. Life insurance coverage is a key asset to any holistic financial plan. Unlike other assets you accumulate in your life, this one is for the ones you love. Most families will tell you that once they have secured the foundational elements of building a strong financial plan, they achieve peace and pride in knowing they've put key measures in place to ensure the safety and well being of their families. This is a key to general well being in life. This also allows us to shift focus to our goals, hopes and the ability to build wealth without the worry of what the future holds. If you would like to learn more or need support with your planning, please reach out. We would be happy to serve you with guidance on planning and coverage for your family. #PlanNowLiveFreely #Lifeinsuranceawareness #financialwellness #financialsecurity #holisticfinancialplanning

They say money can’t buy happiness – but in today’s world, we certainly try. As consumers, we purchase things, experiences, services and, increasingly, advice on how to improve our happiness. The self-improvement industry continues to grow at a rapid pace, and wellness and self-care are buzzwords seamlessly intertwined in a majority of advertising campaigns and branding. In a fresh approach to this topic, Dr. Christine Whelan suggests that maybe money can buy happiness after all – when you know how to spend your money right. Based on her popular University of Wisconsin-Madison course, join Professor Whelan for a fascinating discussion about the intersection of money, well-being and staying true to your values. You’ll learn how to skillfully navigate the “experience economy” and approach opportunities to invest in self-improvement, cultivate your purpose and protect the path to your dreams. At American Family Insurance, life’s better when you’re under our roof because when you feel totally supported and protected, any dream is possible. That’s why we created DreamBank, an inspirational community destination and virtual experience that provides events, signature experiences and resources to help people pursue, achieve and protect their dreams. https://bit.ly/4dVsbKv

Financial Planning: A Lifeline in Times of Need Life throws curveballs, and sometimes, they hit hard. That's what happened to my client, a woman in her late 30s facing unexpected health challenges. Battling illness and navigating doctor's appointments took a toll, leaving her worried about finances and her ability to work. But amidst the stress, there was hope: her financial plan. Her father had gifted her a whole life insurance policy, and she had wisely secured a long-term disability policy a few years back. Hearing her sigh of relief, knowing she could focus on healing without financial burdens, was incredibly rewarding. This story is a powerful reminder that financial planning isn't just about investments or retirement. It's about building a safety net that catches you when life takes an unexpected turn. It's peace of mind, knowing you can prioritize your health or well-being without constant worry. This isn't just one client's story; it's a call to action. Everyone, regardless of age or income, deserves the security and freedom that comes with a comprehensive financial plan. #wholelifepolicy #longtermdisability #financialfreedom #peaceofmind #healthfirst #financialsecurity #talktoME #empoweryourlife

As a financial advisor, losing someone is never just hearing about a passing. It’s a whirlwind of emotions that go beyond the grief. It’s wondering whether they had enough funeral cover, a solid life policy, and whether their loved ones, especially their children, are well taken care of. Did they have a will in place? Were their beneficiaries up to date? Was everything aligned to their current life situation before they left us? The heartbreak is compounded when you know you tried to help—reached out multiple times, only to be turned away. That’s the reality many of us face. We are not just advisors; we are caretakers of futures, and it’s a deeply personal and emotional role. I am currently grappling with the loss of three people I personally knew. Three individuals I tried to help but who never gave me a chance. Their sudden departures left a void, not only for their families but for me as a professional who wanted to see them prepared and secure. It’s time we change our view of financial planning and insurance. Gone are the days of selling products for the sake of commissions. The conversation has evolved into building meaningful financial relationships that go beyond policy documents. Let’s sit down and talk about ensuring your legacy is preserved, your dependents are protected, and everything is in place, regardless of what tomorrow may bring. If I reach out, it’s not just to talk insurance. It’s to help build a life plan that we hope never gets tested by life’s uncertainties. Please take that meeting. It could make all the difference for you and your loved ones. #FinancialPlanning #LifeInsurance #EstatePlanning #FinancialAdvisors #LegacyManagement
