I was just sitting and editing a couple of photos for a client, and it finally hit me how awesome the last 2 months have been. It's so important to take a moment, reflect, and appreciate how far you've come and how quickly things can change when you’re determined. In the last 2 months: 😁 Started Blue Motive Media and turned another passion I have had since I was young into a business. 😃 Wrapped up on what's been a fantastic £500,000 skatepark refurb project 😆 Organised the successful launch event for Witham’s part in that project. The event was very well received, and we’re now planning to grow it into a community-driven, family-friendly festival! It will feature extreme sports competitions, live music, creative entertainment, family fun, and much more. There will be some fantastic opportunities for local businesses to get involved—more information to come! 😉 I’m also working on a second venture, with the first product currently in testing, and I’m really excited about it. One thing I’ve re-learned in the past two months is that sometimes, you need to take risks and just go for it. Awesome video from Witham Skateparks Reopening event showcase the skateboarding competition by Bungabled Skateboards Skateboarding was just one element of what was a very successful event, closing off what was a very sucess refurbishment project. It’s incredible how time flies, but this Saturday marks the culmination of an exciting 3-year journey! I’ve had the privilege of working closely with Braintree District Council on a transformative just over £500,000 skatepark revamp, covering three locations in Witham, Braintree, and Halstead, Essex. Witham holds a special place for me, as I was involved in securing the original park back in 2014. What we've achieved within the available budget is truly remarkable, and I couldn’t be more proud of the result. This Saturday, we’ll be officially launching Witham’s revamped skatepark with an action-packed event featuring competitions across skateboarding, rollerblading, BMX, and scootering, alongside lessons, live music, award-winning magicians, amazing food and more. And this is just the beginning… A awesome announcement will be made at the event that I believe will be a game-changer for the action/extreme sports, lifestyle, creative entertainment, and music scene in Essex. Today marks the end of a chapter and was my last day with Barrington James.
