Not everyone has a great experience working with recruiters. This is clear from the conversations I’ve had with candidates. That’s why we take time to explain our role in navigating your job search. The first step I take in an introductory call is to explain who we are and our process. Give you context on the relationship with our client. I aim to be as transparent with you as possible so you know exactly what you're getting into. As well, nothing will move forward without your approval. Who are the brains behind Vivid? And are we a Recruitment Agency or a Model Agency? 😉 Established almost four years ago (time flies when you're having fun), Vivid Recruitment started as a shared vision between mates over a few beers. Meet our Founders and Directors, Nicholas Koop (Nick) and Lee Stevens, who collectively have 22 years of experience in the industry. They've seen it all - the good, the bad and the ugly. These two find and recruit the best talent for the Architecture, Design, Engineering, Construction & Planning industries. It's not rocket science. There are no bells & whistles, no fancy processes. Just hard work and incredible relationships. That's what gets the job done. Clear and simple. So, if you're looking for help with your next role or search for talent, get in touch with these guys… because they know recruitment (but not modelling so much 🤣). Supply Chain & Logistics Manager | Expertise in E-commerce Operations | Inventory Management | Skilled in SAP HANA/4, MATLAB | Process Optimization | Procurement Management |
🚀 Breaking Barriers in Engineering and Construction🚀 During my time as a consultant with Morgan Sindall Construction, I had the opportunity to delve into the reasons behind the lack of interest in our sector among women and the BAME community. One striking insight emerged from our interviews: many qualified individuals were overlooked for roles due to a lack of formal experience, while capable engineers were stuck in unrelated jobs. I raised a critical point with the team: if we only consider experience, how can talented individuals gain that experience in the first place? Thankfully, this resonated, and we recognized the need for a shift in perspective. I urge recruiters to prioritize skills over just experience when evaluating candidates. By focusing on potential and capabilities, we can create a more inclusive and diverse workforce, ensuring that every deserving candidate gets a fair chance to thrive in our industry. Let’s work together to build a future where talent is recognized and nurtured, regardless of background. #DiversityInConstruction #EngineeringOpportunities #SkillsOverExperience #InclusiveWorkplace #MorganSindall

Helping Architecture, Engineering, And Construction Firms Hire The Best Talent || Changing The Way AEC Leaders View Hiring And Employee Retainment || Recruivision.com
Resumes are a starting point, but they can't show you how a candidate handles real-world challenges. You need your new AEC hire to be good. What do you do then? Tailored Exercises: We design exercises specific to the role, simulating tasks your new hire will encounter on the job. Assess Problem-Solving: Practical exercises reveal a candidate's ability to think critically, analyze situations, and find creative solutions. Uncover Collaboration Skills: See how candidates work effectively with others, communicate ideas clearly, and adapt to changing project demands. The Benefit: Unlike resumes, practical exercises showcase a candidate's real-world capabilities. They give you a glimpse into their problem-solving skills, communication style, and ability to collaborate in a dynamic environment. Imagine this: Two candidates have similar resumes. But a practical exercise reveals one candidate who excels at collaborating with a team, brainstorming solutions, and effectively presenting their ideas - essential skills for a successful AEC project. Ready to find the perfect fit for your next project? #AECRecruitment #TalentAcquisition #PracticalExercises #Architecture #Engineering #Construction

Senior Recruiter in Surveying, Architecture, & Engineering industries || Email resumes to dylan.schuck@gogpac.com
Thought about working with a recruiter but unsure of what to expect? Below are 5 advantages to working with a recruiter! 👇 👇 1) Access to Hidden Opportunities: Recruiters often have access to job opportunities that may not be publicly advertised. This provides you (the candidate) with a broader range of positions you aren't aware of. 2) Guidance and Support: Not only do recruiters make you aware of positions, but also can offer job market insight and industry trends. Another key aspect is guidance on resume improvement, interview preparation, and overall career advice. 3) Advocacy: Able to act as an advocate on behalf of the candidate, presenting their qualifications in the best light to potential employers and negotiating on their behalf. 4) Streamlined Process: Recruiters can streamline the job application and interview process, providing a more efficient and organized experience. 5) Industry Connections: Having strong connections with hiring managers and decision makers throughout the industry is a key strength that recruiters possess. These connections can be leveraged to help you find new opportunities. Working with a recruiter has many advantages, but it is important for both the employers and job seekers to communicate openly, provide clear expectations, and maintain a collaborative relationship for the process to be effective. If you are looking for new opportunities within the engineering, surveying, and architecture industries, reach out to me directly to discuss taking the next step in your career. Make job searching easy. Reach out to me today! Dylan Schuck Senior Search Consultant | Engineering, Surveying, Architecture 605-403-5166 dylan.schuck@gogpac.com

Why you should be laying out business plans to new hires... It helps both parties decide whether this is the right fit. And will help you bring in the best engineers. I’ve been dealing with a director who showcases the business plan and gives career plans to engineers. And guess what, this works! I have placed engineers within the business. And they already have a plan for the next year or 2. Having a clear idea of their potential future and progression within the business is what attracted them. Have you got something exciting in the making? Tell your applicants about it! #Recruiter #Advice #Engineering
