Semiconductor fabrication, the process of creating chips, is a complex dance of precise steps in super-clean environments. It starts with preparing silicon wafers, followed by layering circuits using light-sensitive materials (photolithography). Etching removes unwanted material, doping alters silicon's properties, and deposition adds conductive/insulating layers. These steps are repeated to build intricate circuits. After fabrication, rigorous testing ensures chip quality. Working chips are then packaged for use in electronic devices.
