One challenge when marketing retro brands is how do you make the content appealing to both the ones who are nostalgic and newcomers at the same time. I would like to commend Adult Swim's campaign planning team for their work on overcoming this issue on the Checkered Past block. Much like Adult Swim itself, the in-between bumpers between shows portrayl surreal scenarios not only guaranteed to keep you watching, but also cements the block's identity into your head as well.
