🤔 Are you familiar with Workday, or do you use another HRIS platform? I've been using Workday as HRIS for almost 5 years now. Initially, I started as a simple HR user, mainly entering data and making some adjustments within employee lifecycle. At the time, I found Workday to be user-friendly, with the key advantage of centralizing all our HR data and providing useful reporting functionalities. Over the past 2 years, I've been involved in various projects, including testing functionalities and assisting with data migration during implementation processes. Despite my initial confidence, I discovered there was much more to learn than I expected 😅 I've expanded my knowledge of Workday, exploring its various functional areas. One notable milestones during this time was setting up a comprehensive compensation review process for the EU region, complete with templates, validation rules, participant management and budget allocation. I implemented several customized reports, ensuring managers could efficiently navigate through the complexities of compensation management. Below are some tips if you are planning to implement Workday in your company. ✅ Ensure you have at least a couple of in-house experts on board. This can often be more cost-effective than hiring an external company that bills by the hour. It will help you expanding internal expertise. ✅ Make sure you have access to #WorkdayCommunity as a helpful resource where a lot of answers can be found.
