A few thoughts on the Product Manager's responsibility to secure solutions in the fintech industry.

We really wanted to work with a specific client, so we changed everything. I'd been in conversations with a potential client for about 18 months on and off. It was a dream client: 👉 An upcoming industry. 👉 Genuine purpose-driven brand. 👉 Founder and team we clicked with. They realised their packaging needed an overhaul. And they finally called us for help. Obviously. However, the terms in which they wanted to work together weren't aligned with how we usually worked. 👉 They had a budget below our minimum level of engagement. 👉 They wanted a unique invoice schedule 👉 They asked us to tweak a part of our process. Despite these challenges, I knew this opportunity was worth it. 𝗦𝗼 𝗶𝘁 𝘁𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗺𝗲 𝟯𝟬 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗱𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗿𝘂𝗹𝗲𝘀. The project ended up being mega, and it will launch in a few weeks. The moral of the story? Be agile, diverse, and willing to adapt. Sometimes, it's worth going the extra mile.

After been away for some time, I finally got back on track, thanks to Kelechi Origa and Reinhard Tega. So, this week in class, we dove into the world of product launching. We explored the key steps involved, strategies for effective launch management, the importance of user manuals, potential products launch risks and consequences of a product launch gone wrong.
