Can bad costumes do good things? This is the title of a brief afterword I've written for Susan Marshall's new book Insubordinate Costume. With chapters by Sofia Pantouvaki and Christina Lindgren, as well as Charlotte Østergaard and Felix Choong, the collection brings together "a comprehensive study of historical and contemporary examples of scenographic costume – the type of costume that creates an almost complete stage environment by itself, simultaneously acting as costume, set and performance". Today’s article has been living in the back of our mind for quite some time but we never got around to do it, for a reason or another. Yesterday we finally changed our mind, so we're here to tell you about one of our favorite red carpets of the year, thanks to the fabulous #LucyBoynton and her latest movie project: #TheGreatestHits.

THE COSTUMES NOT REALLY CULTURAL ACCULTURATION! The beauty of an upright administrator is a formal ETHICAL appearance for any official engagement. Therefore, the decent DRESSING is always being judged by the Cultural reflections of what is being worn. Thus the COSTUMES being of different varieties are seen to be FORMAL if the Color, Tailoring styles n the physical texture of the dress matches with the number of material pieces that makes it a complete WHOLE. Mark You, this is not Cultural ACCULTURATION but just being Formal.
