Our nurse anesthesia team at Mayo Clinic in Arizona recently hosted the first quarterly Nurse Anesthesia Student Simulation Center Education Session. SRNAs from the University of Arizona and Missouri State University, along with Mayo ICU RNs currently in CRNA school, collaborated on anesthesia topics like ultrasound, liver transplant, and airway management. Through hands-on training and high-fidelity simulations, participants tackled scenarios like managing a bronchospasm during anesthesia. Thinking about a career as an ICU RN or CRNA at Mayo Clinic?
