It is a new day for our Airmen and Guardians serving at remote and isolated installations - Congratulations Team Edwards!
I was honored to join the 412th Test Wing Commander, Col. Doug Wickert, in launching an all-new state-of-the-art commercial apartment complex at Edwards AFB. For years, personnel have been challenged with a shortage of housing, long commutes, and limited access to amenities. NO MORE! We are committed to ending that era with this bold new initiative!
This new complex will be tailored to meet the unique needs of our Airmen, Guardians, and their families stationed at remote and isolated installations. It will feature 144 units, a pool, fitness center, sports courts, and EV charging stations!
Our team refuses to move at the speed of government—we will not stop advancing quality of life for Airmen with investments befitting of their service.
Special thanks to Deputy Assistant Secretary Bob Moriarty and our installations team, the entire 412th Test Wing, Edwards Air Force Base team, including the 412 CEG and Mayroad for putting together a first-class ceremony.
