Understanding Accuracy & Precision 🔬 Accuracy vs. Precision: In medical labs, accuracy ensures test results reflect true values, while precision guarantees consistency. Both are essential for reliable diagnoses. 📍Example: Repeated blood glucose tests showing consistent results reflect precision; accuracy is confirmed if those results match the patient's actual glucose level. #MedicalLaboratory #QualityControl #Accuracy #Precision

When comparing medical devices in general, and tourniquets in particular, there are objective and subjective differences. Some studies spend many pages in the subjective weeds, when there are obvious objective differences that never get published. People compare my wraps with the SWAT-T pretty often. So here's a list of objective differences that don’t require an IRB. You may consider “ease of self application” and “use on animals” to be more subjective. Fair enough. I'd just ask you try for yourself. I really don't think these points need a randomized prospective trial.
