Loris Ghidini and Giulia Ciapparella were part of the team who developed The Good Loop, the award-winning tool designed to enhance music streaming on Spotify for individuals with autism. This pioneering tool enables users to customise their listening experience, edit tracks, loop sections, isolate instruments, and discover similar songs using AI. By tailoring music to their sensory needs, The Good Loop helps users manage sensory overload and express emotions, enhancing their engagement with music. I believe that Udio - the viral AI music generator - will kill more than just Spotify The special thing about Udio is other than melody, it can generate spoken words that tunes with the melody. It's essentially an audio engine that can replace: - Comedians - Public speakers - Comnmercial voice artists - Radio Broadcasters - Sports announcers - NPC voice artists - Nature sounds - ASMR (whatever that means) Here are some wild examples of generated audios. *I took the liberty to add some stock footage for illustration purposes - the audios are straight from the Udio AI engine with no edits*

We can have endless conversations, but sincere, singular, artist-driven music is irreplaceable when it comes to sync (and life). With one century of recorded music available, it makes no sense to listen to stock music or unlicensed generative AI when watching content. What do you think? x
🐯 Lost in the content jungle: What's on your soundtrack? #vision Independent, major, self-released, royalty-free, stock (made for sync purposes), fake artists, AI-generated – all mixed up in the infinite offerings of our screens and streaming platforms. Artist-driven music will forever transcend mere "content" or "data." It is one of humanity's oldest and most beautiful art forms, a canvas for emotions, experiences, and memories. When in dialogue with visual stories, the perfect piece of music can greatly elevate storytelling and produce a lasting impact. By streamlining a highly curated collection of artist-driven music only, Catalog is much more than a sync marketplace – it's a community built around the power of genuine human artistic expression. #catalog #futureofsync #artistdriven #musicsupervision #curation #nextgenlicensing #musicindustry #tech

📰 Our CEO, Rob Wells, recently spoke to The Hollywood Reporter about the LA Sync Mission, whose 20th edition took place on 9-13 September, and the growing importance of British music in Hollywood hits. He highlighted how Orfium is effectively managing metadata to ensure creators receive their fair share of income, contributing to a more transparent and equitable industry. “The growth (of streaming and new content formats) has led to increased demand for tracking and reporting music usage accurately to ensure accurate payments to composers and rights holders. Orfium is solving these challenges with its AI-powered technology, ensuring that creators and rights holders are paid for every second of music usage.” Read the full article ➡ https://bit.ly/4gtPwo3 to learn more about Rob's insights and Orfium's commitment to transparency and fairness in the music industry. #Orfium #MusicIndustry #AI #Metadata #SyncLicensing #musicrights

At the 2023 Serendipity Collective Global Challenge, one of the ideas that received $50k investment from the panel of judges was about Co-Creating Music Using Brainwaves. The team’s idea was to develop a multi-user Brain-Computer Music Interface (BCMI) and AI-assisted hyperscanning techniques to enable two or more users to interact musically via their EEG signals in a way that rewards intra and inter-brain synchronisation in real-time. By co-creating music, people may literally become more ‘in tune’ with each other. What do you think of this idea? Does it inspire you to think of your own idea? If you want to better meet the needs of diverse audiences, you can learn from how AI has been used by music platforms! 🤖 In last month’s Innovation Waves Webinar, Hazel Savage, Jane Dyball and I spoke with Miquido’s Jerzy Biernacki about the impact of AI on music and culture. 🌏 I’ve always been interested in how and why music listeners’ preferences for streaming platforms differ across markets. When looking specifically at those who largely consume “global music” genres, platform preferences are not just based on how vast the catalogue is. The way in which it is delivered is also critical. Listeners want a music experience that is tailored to their tastes - where these are at the forefront and not treated as niche. Algorithms have played an important role in achieving a customised music experience, enabling platforms to better serve (and thus retain) music listeners with diverse tastes. #Music #Data #AI #Diversity #MusicBusiness
