Join us, 50/50 Women on Boards, for this important discussion. The importance of diversity on boards is well known. Board diversity is good for business. It’s good for communities. It’s good for women’s careers. It promotes innovation. And on and on. Yet, as of the end of 2023 women held 29.4% of Board seats in US companies, while women of color held 7.7% and men of color 11.4%. (Equilar study of 353 US companies). Come see how we at 50/50 Women on Boards are working to increase Board diversity and help to identify concrete solutions. The event itself is an amazing networking opportunity to find connections that will inspire you. See registration details below. See you there! #womenonboards #womensupportingwomen #mensupportingwomen #womenandtalent #talent #diversityonboards #boarddiversity #dei #womensequity #womensequality #equality #boardgovernance

External Examiners as catalysts for change… This article additionally features the feedback from our External Examiner and the absolutely integral role they play in curriculum and course development. I feel the work of External Examiners is not talked about enough… I am so grateful for Gillian Reid who was instrumental in the changes discussed in this paper- without her feedback followed by on-going support and dialogue surrounding diversifying and making clearer connections between key topics in inclusive practice some of these changes may not have happened… Let’s celebrate the positive work of External Examiners who can be the key catalysts for change! #EE #UWEBristol #Inclusivepractice #change #curriculumdesign #embracechange #ITT

That is what Karen Williams and Dr Karan Vickers-Hulse did for me. My first official article!!!! Check it out: https://lnkd.in/eQGMrgQV
