Using wavelet coherence analysis, I uncovered hidden patterns and non-linear connections—because sometimes, it’s the subtle interplays that truly matter. 📊 Key Findings: Dynamic Interdependence: Mutual funds don’t exist in isolation. They dance to the rhythm of market dynamics, and my research revealed how their returns and volatility synchronize across different time scales. Wavelet Coherence: Imagine a musical duet—the harmonious notes blending seamlessly. Similarly, wavelet coherence allowed me to identify significant co-movements between these financial variables. I developed this document a while back when someone I worked with couldn't account for CSI spend or the reason for decsions to spend on specific projects. In that environment, the focus of CSI (stated in policy) was mostly media coverage, not impact. Important that CSI gets put to work consciously.
