What's the latest potential threat to retaining high performers? Spoiler alert: It's Artificial Intelligence. Gartner research revealed some of the top challenges facing CEOs in 2025, and AI topped the list of impacts on employee development, performance, and management. Many organizations strive to develop a sense of belonging among employees as a retention tool. This begs the question: How do organizations create "belonging?" McChrystal Group data revealed the importance of belonging years ago, and one of the primary drivers of "belonging" is empowered execution, a core capability of a Team of Teams®. McChrystal Group's data guru, Morgan Silvers, unpacks how organizations and leaders can use empowered execution to instill belonging in their workforce. Now is the season for trends reports, but this is an interesting one, focussed on the inevitability of AI and the skills needed to retain and engage great people - not least the leadership opportunities to lead in new ways and keep learning and developing. “Given the data issues many companies have and their overall preparedness to shift the way they approach talent, a great many organizations interested in a skills based approach simply aren't ready for it.” This is about the structures that support skills - the transparency that builds trust, the tools that foster BOTH efficiency and growth, practices that make it easy to contribute and thrive and the change management to adapt. https://lnkd.in/gDjhRPe3

#HR Leaders - Technology the new frontier for dismantling systemic bias. Here's how to start using data to revolutionize your workplace culture today: Conduct a Data Audit → Begin by gathering all relevant data on hiring, promotions, and employee feedback. ↳ Look for disparities that might indicate bias. Implement Objective Metrics → Use data driven performance metrics for evaluations. ↳ Ensure that all employees are assessed fairly and consistently. Customize DEI Training → Tailor your DEI training to address specific biases identified in your data. ↳ Make sure it's relevant to the unique challenges your organization faces. Set Clear Goals → Define what success looks like in your DEI initiatives. ↳ Use data to track progress and make adjustments as needed. Foster Transparency → Share data insights with your team regularly. ↳ Encourage open discussions about areas for improvement and successes. Encourage Continuous Feedback → Regularly solicit feedback from employees about their experiences. ↳ Use this data to refine your strategies continually. Review and Revise Policies → Use insights from your data to update policies to be more inclusive. ↳ Ensure they promote equality and prevent discrimination. By embracing these actionable steps, you not only dismantle systemic bias but also pave the way for a more inclusive and equitable workplace. Remember, data is not just numbers; it's the voice of your employees. Listen to it. Act on it. The transformation starts with you. Are you ready to lead the change? P.S. 👉 If you found value in this post, please forward it to an HR leader or simply repost. It would mean the world to the team at CulturWorks! 🙌

A great summary below from Zhanel Ahearne on reflections and what's ahead for people & businesses to thrive in 2025! Well worth a read to get you set for success...
Organizational Development practitioner specializing in culture change and transformation, leadership interventions, and coaching.
My Reflections on 2025 HR themes The workplace is evolving rapidly, and staying ahead means adapting to new trends while keeping people at the center. Based on insights from Gartner, other reports, and what I’ve heard frequently in recent conversations, here are five key trends for 2025 as I see them: 1️⃣ AI & Technology in HR AI is transforming HR, but success depends on upskilling employees to embrace these tools effectively. Technology should empower people to ethically adopt generative AI and embed it into day-to-day work. This will not only improve productivity but also support neurodiverse employees. 2️⃣ Organizational Culture Culture is critical, yet 50% of HR leaders report that leaders don’t drive it, and 97% of CHROs aim to change some aspect of their company culture. A strong culture can improve performance by 25%, engagement by 63%, and retention by 25%. Culture change will remain a top priority for many companies in 2025. 3️⃣ Leadership & People Managers Development Leaders and people managers are overwhelmed by growing demands, and current programs fail to meet their needs. Online learning and generic solutions won’t suffice—tailored, hands-on development and more experiential interventions will be crucial to addressing these challenges. 4️⃣ Age-Inclusive Strategies Companies need to focus on retaining and reskilling employees over 50, as many can’t or don’t want to retire. Organizations that adopt age-inclusive strategies will tap into the unique experience and skills of this demographic, gaining a competitive advantage. Early adopters will benefit from more engaged employees and improved retention. 5️⃣ Change Management With 73% of employees fatigued by change and 74% of leaders unprepared to lead it, organizations must do better. Change is constant—equipping leaders and developing change capabilities are no longer optional. Data is based on the Gartner report (1600 HR leaders in 60 countries) #HRthemes #Leadership #Inclusion #ChangeManagement #AI #FutureOfWork #AgeInclusivity #CultureChange
