🎓✨ Milestone Unlocked: A Journey of Growth and Triumph! 🚀 Milestone unlocked: Today, I stand proudly at the summit of a year-long odyssey that has reshaped both my personal and professional horizons. 🌍💼 Exactly a year ago, I took a leap of faith as an international student at Maynooth University, Ireland. The warmth of Ireland and the open arms of Maynooth welcomed me, setting the stage for an incredible adventure that exceeded all expectations. The result? A Master's in Business Analytics with First Class Honors at 72.6% is a tangible manifestation of countless nights spent toiling, learning, and growing. The sense of satisfaction is immeasurable! Under Amir Hossein Azadnia's expert guidance, I not only scored an impressive 91 in Predictive Analytics but also delved into the subject's practical applications that transcended theory. Amir's mastery illuminated the intricacies of understanding consumer behavior using data, transforming the course into a truly transformative experience. Keith Thomas BM, in "People, Organization, and Society," offered a holistic vision of how these three components intricately affect businesses. It was an eye-opener to the interconnectedness that shapes the business landscape. I navigated through this insightful subject and scored a commendable 82. At long last, the moment arrived to seamlessly translate the wealth of acquired knowledge and theoretical insights into practical implications. Under the expert mentorship of Robert Galavan in the Business Consulting Project, I not only scored an impressive 78 but also traversed a transformative path guided at every crucial step. This experience marked the harmonious convergence of theoretical prowess with real-world application, where strategic thinking seamlessly intersected with the demands of practical reality. Heartfelt thanks to my professor, Fabiano Pallonetto Jean Cushen James Duggan Rehan Iftikhar Ali Reza Keshavarz Kiera Dempsey-Brench Dr Emmanuel Kypraios Tatiana Andreeva for shaping me into a better professional, and to my friends and family for being my pillars of support. As I reflect on this chapter, I'm filled with gratitude and excitement for what lies ahead. Looking forward to the next adventure, wherever the journey takes me next! 🌟🎉 #MilestoneUnlocked #MaynoothJourney #NextChapter

Planning our 8th ETA conference at MIT Sloan this past weekend has been a whirlwind! Thank you to all our sponsors, panelists, volunteers, and attendees for making the conference successful. And thank you to our ETA@MIT club leadership team for dedicating a better part of your year to delivering an excellent event. Planning student-led events can often feel like a thankless task. It's easy to lose sight of why we put so much effort into the event. As we analyzed the data collected from our conference app, I saw something that reminded me why this work was vital. Those who know me know that I came into the ETA space because of its potential to address systemic inequities in economic prosperity. For two years in a row, we have had a panel on ETA as a vehicle for addressing racial wealth gaps. And for the second year in a row, we invited Archie L. Jones, Jr., CPA, NACD.DC and Sloan Alum Allegra Stennett to moderate and speak. I often wondered how impactful this panel is. Did people actually care, or are we just shouting into the wind? Below is a screenshot of our "Top Speakers," which measures which speakers had the most profile views. I am beyond proud to see Allegra Stennett topping this list!! ETA is important. Owning businesses is important. Providing equitable access to ownership is important. A million thanks to our ETA community, who have bought into our mission at MIT to make ETA accessible to everyone. Onward and upward - see you next year!!

I am thrilled to share the wonderful experience of being the Workshop Leader for the 2024 Welcome Back Vision Board Event for our incredible Kessler scholars. 🚀✨ It was an inspiring gathering filled with creativity, reflection, and goal-setting. Here are a few key takeaways that highlight the power of vision boards: 1. Clarity of Goals: Vision boards serve as powerful visual representations of one's aspirations. By crafting these boards, our scholars were able to articulate and clarify their short-term and long-term goals. The act of selecting and arranging images not only made their goals tangible but also instilled a sense of purpose. 2. Positive Visualization: Visualization is a key component of success. Through the creation of vision boards, our scholars immersed themselves in a positive and motivational mindset. By picturing their desired futures, they are better equipped to manifest those visions into reality. 3. Increased Focus and Motivation: The process of curating a vision board encourages individuals to identify their priorities. By selecting images and words that resonate with their ambitions, our scholars gained a heightened sense of focus and motivation. This, in turn, will drive them to stay committed to their academic and personal pursuits. 4. Building a Supportive Community: The event fostered a sense of camaraderie among our scholars. Sharing their vision boards allowed them to connect on a deeper level, understanding each other's dreams and aspirations. This sense of community will serve as a valuable support system throughout the academic year. As we begin this new chapter, I am confident that the ideas presented on these boards will lead our Kessler scholars to success. Special thanks to all who participated and contributed to the vibrant energy of the event and Donna Taylor-Schuman for allowing me to be a part of this! Here's to a year of growth, achievement, and realizing our dreams! 🌟
