When creating sales copy, offers, incentives, etc, remember that only 3% of your audience is READY to buy. Then you need to convert from that 3%. A further 7% are open to it, just not ready to commit right now. So with a bit of consistent marketing you're now reaching 10%. Nice! Then it gets exciting, 30% are possibly open to it, so there are tons of opportunities there when playing the longer game. This is why "one-off" marketing campaigns rarely work. In simple terms, make sure your marketing is targeted, consistent, and not dated. Be wary of dated incentives; fine for the 3% but annoying for the 7% and 30%. Who do you want to aim for? Too many businesses play the "Buy Now" sales game. That's an expensive game to play. #salesandmarketing #businessdevelopment #sales
