This fails to align with the requirements of individuals during this crucial developmental stage, prompting many localities to consider adopting a more transitional and contextual safeguarding approach. In the realm of adult social work, it is imperative to broaden our perspective on safeguarding responsibilities across the lifespan (SCIE, 2023). Adults, irrespective of age, may too find themselves exposed to continued harm after losing the support they once had. Addressing this issue requires a collective commitment to gain deeper insights, alter our approaches, and respond more effectively. Recognising the complexities of safeguarding young people and acknowledging the challenges of transitioning into adulthood is essential. Why we love early childhood education properties: projected sector growth and federal backing. 🌟 The global Early Childhood Education Market was estimated at USD 245 Billion in 2019 and is expected to reach USD 480 Billion by 2026. 🌟 The American Families Plan will make transformational investments from early childhood to post-secondary education so that all children and young people are able to grow, learn, and gain the skills they need to succeed. It will provide universal, high-quality preschool to all three- and four-year-olds. Regarding our Children of America property in Lakewood, Illinois specifically, it is a strong real estate investment due to the state of Illinois' assistance in childcare costs. As a parent and a grandparent, I know directly how much childcare is critically important. More than half of families in this country live in childcare deserts. Furthermore, roughly 3.2 million children will likely lose childcare spots resulting from the end of pandemic relief federal funds for childcare, which expired September 30, 2023. Families can navigate a district with elementary, middle, and high schools. But early childcare education doesn’t have the same infrastructure. We have been overlooking a national program for childcare that could solve this issue — the childcare system for military families. This model could serve as a valuable blueprint for establishing a more comprehensive and accessible childcare infrastructure for all American families. The lots are independent of each other and may be awarded to different tenderers. 📖 LOT 1: Research on the determinants of positive experiences and outcomes for children in Childminding settings Early Childhood Ireland wishes to commission desk-based research, including an international literature review, on the research evidence available on the determinants of positive experiences and outcomes for babies, toddlers, preschool children, children in later childhood, and adolescents who participate in childminding services in childminders’ homes. The maximum budget is €20,000 (including VAT).     📖 LOT 2: Research on Child Safeguarding legislation and supports/ guidance in Irish Early Years and School Age Care Services Early Childhood Ireland wishes to commission: Legal research and analysis of the current national Child Safeguarding landscape for Early Years and School Age Care services in Ireland and the extent to which it delivers a fit-for-purpose, accountable child safeguarding system with the necessary legal powers, governance, and operational systems to safeguard children participating in these services; and An audit of the availability and accessibility of support services/programmes/initiatives and resources available to support Early Years and School Age Care services’ compliance with the Children First Act 2015 and with the development of service providers’ and staffs’ capacity and skills to achieve a robust child safeguarding culture and practice in settings. The maximum budget is €22,000 (including VAT). The deadline for the receipt of tenders is 5pm on 13 December 2023. A decision on the preferred contractor will be made and communicated by 15 December 23.
