Little has changed in Medicare #telehealth policy since the COVID-19 public health emergency (PHE) ended last May. Colorado’s health care system is under attack. Protect patients’ access to health care by encouraging your lawmaker to support Senate Bill 130, a reasonable solution that protects patients and the medical community. On the other hand, proposed ballot Initiatives 150, 274, 275, 276 & 277 threaten to make health care more expensive, harder to find and less safe in Colorado. In 2019, several health care regulators in BC came together to form a multi-college public engagement initiative – the BC Public Advisory Network (BC-PAN). Creating a joint mechanism to place the public at the center of health care reflects regulatory colleges’ mandate to serve and protect the public. The BC-PAN is a way that regulatory colleges can demonstrate accountability, promote transparency, and gather meaningful public feedback to help guide their work. Check out BC-PAN’s impact here: https://lnkd.in/dujYJz3u
