100 percent yes! Holistic 360 degree view of health is as obvious as the Morgan Health parent company JPMorgan Chase & Co. axioms around a full picture of a person's financial 360 degree view. Narrow scope of context, point solutions and absence of longitudinal data make healthcare efforts reactive, prone to over-correction, and overall limited in effectiveness. As innovators it's our task to create ways to open the aperture and find ways to bring this kind of 360 degree view into reality for all, including patients and clinicians, with an eye to access, healthcare equity and SDOH. This includes digestible content, useful devices, services, information structuring and presentation, use of AI to accelerate the "sense-making" of the firehoses of data, and more. It's an exciting time to be innovating in #healthtech and #healthcare and #healthcarefintech Great to hear Emily Lindemer, PhD 's story and vision driving Morgan Health
Much of a person's health can't be controlled exclusively within the clinical setting, says Emily Lindemer, PhD in this episode of #HealthcareRethink. Treating a patient without addressing underlying social factors isn't a complete solution. See the whole episode here: https://lnkd.in/eKpiH3dp

Get a Sneak Peek of This Exciting Webinar, Social Determinants of Health: What’s the Big Deal, presented by Kristi Pollard, RHIT, CCS, CPC, CIRCC! "Coders are often told not to code from problem lists and documentation should be included in the current record. We feel like it needs to be in the history of present illness, the assessment, or the plan, and not just hidden in the medical history or the patients history. How is this information impacting the patient? We need to close that loop."
