One of the most challenging things about being a customer experience leader? Colleagues are often skeptical. Since the priorities across an organization are so varied, there's usually someone who thinks their work should take precedence over CX efforts. I see this all the time and understand the frustration. Having a clear mission and structured approach helps, but it doesn't make you immune to having to justify your focus on CX. If you're faced with skepticism about CX efforts, remember, if someone asks why we're focusing so much on customer experience, it's because we know it directly impacts overall business success.
