Natural Talent can be easily spotted. Take Feedback graciously whenever it is shared. My love for #flying is paramount and every opportunity that comes along the way is picked up graciously. In #paragliding, ground handling is critical as it is very easy to fly in the air but to control the wing on ground is the most important piece. In my last trip a few weeks ago, I was doing my usual practice under the guidance of my instructor controlling the wing on ground. This kid (instructors son) was also practicing Ground Handling. Refreshing the muscle memory was the key & this kid had a natural knack for controlling the wing. In my two runs, he shared his take on what to do & how to improve. Then he told me to do the Ground Run with him to be captured on camera by his dad. #passion - #enthusiasm - #natural #talent for this sport was visible. I won’t be surprised if some of these kids are doing wonders in paragliding. What Sanjay started 25 years ago at Kamshet near Pune to build this sport & integrate the local #community into it and put it on the world map of Paragliding? Are Extra Curricular Activities Important? I participated in many activities during my bachelor's at ITM UNIVERSITY, GWALIOR, such as NCC, NSS, volunteering, and being a member of various clubs. Today, I suddenly started talking to my friend about our NCC camp experiences, and so many memories came rushing back. Things that happened during the camps, especially: - Map reading classes - Rifle shooting - Standing in line for food - The 5am waking whistle - Cleaning everything ourselves - Parades - The NCC song & Dress and much more... It was always an amazing experience living with new people as a team and learning so many extra things beyond the curriculum. It made me realize that although those extra activities were not directly helpful in getting a job or excelling in academics, participation in extracurricular activities helps a lot indirectly, especially in: - Building your confidence - Time management - Communication skills - Networking and many more... It's important to engage in such activities while managing your work to create amazing memories to cherish. One of the best experiences for me was visiting Central Jail Gwalior as a volunteer for a seminar on the "Importance of Books in Life" with my friends Avinash Sharma, Mr. Vaibhav Nigotia, Manthan Verma, and Deeksha Soni.
