I found this video "Be Professional! Never say this at work!" very interesting. It might sound like a simple topic, but it is important to follow these tips on the work environment. Here are some of the "Do's" and "Don'ts" I found the most useful: 1- Don't say: - I don't know. Instead say: - I'm not sure, but I can find out. 2- Don't say: - I'll try. Instead say: - Sure! I can have it done by (...) or if you can't get it done, be honest, don't say you will try. You can also say: - Actually, I can't get it done by (...), but I can definitely have it done by (...). 3-Do say: If you have to keep someone waiting, say: "I'll be with you in a moment". mmmEnglish https://lnkd.in/diCbaQdW

FOR MEN WHO WANT TO RISE TO THE TOP IN THEIR CAREERS! 1. Always keep your word - if you make a promise, keep it. 2. Respect women & elders - treat them with dignity and respect & listen the advice and guidance of elders. 3. Take care of your appearance - dress appropriately and maintain good hygiene. 4. Be loyal - stand by your friends and family. 5. Be responsible - take ownership of your actions and their consequences. 6. Be self-sufficient - learn to take care of yourself. 7. Learn to forgive - holding grudges only hurts you in the long run. 8. Be humble - don't brag or boast about your accomplishments. 9. Be patient - good things come to those who wait. 10. Don't be a bully - treat others with kindness and compassion. 11. Be a good listener - pay attention to what others are saying. 12. Be a good communicator - express yourself clearly and effectively. 13. Be confident - believe in yourself and your abilities. 14. Act with integrity - do the right thing, even when no one is watching. 15. Be disciplined - have self-control and focus on your goals. 16. Show gratitude - appreciate the people and things in your life. 17. Be open-minded - consider different perspectives and ideas. 18. Be a lifelong learner - never stop growing and improving yourself. 19. Treat your staff as your brothers and sisters whom you care for. 20. Dont be obsessed with titles but rather let your work announce whom you are.

New Year Resolutions It is the New Year 2024! What’s going to be new for you? Are you writing a list of resolutions or is it just one resolution like “Complete my last year resolutions?” Maybe it is not the resolution you need, but objectives that make you satisfied upon achieving them. Something meaningful, value added, make you a better person, or even a greater cause. Here are some general suggestions that I have used effectively for years. The key thing is, a new year is not new if nothing changes. 1. Learn something new, polish and apply it. 2. Set aside time for something that you wanted to do for a while. 3. Change, correct, reduce or remove a habit. 4. Make time for friends that you haven’t meet for a while. 5. Make a few more new friends and nurture that friendship. 6. Go extra mile, do something new and value added in your job. 7. Do a few special things differently for your loved ones. 8. Help more people and strangers than you did before. 9. Give something back to the society. 10. Make peace with yourself on something of the past. Hope this helps! Happy blessed New Year! #GlennDailyWisdom
