Big thank you to everyone who joined us yesterday for our latest community event, Building Resilience on Your Returner Journey. Especially to the fabulous Jean O'Neill. In the session Jean discussed, 👉How to overcome Returner struggles 👉How to alleviate lack of direction 👉How to boost our sense of preparedness when rejoining the workforce. Jean also introduced us to 5 Settings to FOCUS Attention F = Focus – Single priority task O = On a maximum of two meaningful alerts C = Certainty on expectations of the task U = Understand the benefits of the outcomes S = Set self-care disciplines

Chairman of Morning Star Community Services, Mr Kelvin Poon, shared the importance of preventative work in supporting families and communities, and the challenges organisations like Morning Star Community Services face in getting support for these critical initiatives. ASPIRE aims to engage the whole community - children, seniors, parents, and the wider public - to strengthen relationships and prevent families from falling into cracks. Our Mission: Inspired by the need to make a meaningful difference, the Onyx Cares Foundation is dedicated to uplifting communities through targeted initiatives.
