Its world, dominated by endless sand dunes and a relentless sun, has always been predictable, familiar, and unchanging. As it approaches the shoreline, the gentle breeze carrying the scent of saltwater might confuse and intrigue it. The rhythmic sound of waves crashing against the shore would be unlike anything it has ever heard — a far cry from the silence of the desert, occasionally broken by the wind’s whispers.The camel's large, curious eyes would likely widen as it gazes at the seemingly endless expanse of blue, so different from the golden sands it knows so well. It might hesitate, unsure of the vast, shimmering body of water stretching before it. The movement of the water would seem almost alive, as the waves ebb and flow, constantly shifting in a way the camel has never seen in the static dunes of its home.In that moment, the camel might take a cautious step forward, its feet sinking slightly into the wet sand, another unfamiliar sensation.
