Several new laws in #California are set to go into effect July 1, 2024. Some of the laws include: -AB 230 expands an existing law requiring public schools to provide free #menstrual products in bathrooms to include schools that instruct students from grade 3 and up. -AB 1013 will require businesses that sell beer, wine and liquor for consumption on premises, such as bars and nightclubs, to offer drug testing kits to protect consumers from being “roofied. - SB 553 will require employers to develop and enforce an “effective” #workplaceviolence prevention plan.
